One day, she posted something nice on my facebook wall and I politely responded. That day I was also cleaning up my wall, because I post to it daily. After awhile, it becomes quite full and makes it difficult to find a prior post. One thing about my wall is that I use it mostly to post information and for “other” business purposes. I am actually not there to socialize per say…
Well, I deleted her post while I was engaged in a light chat with her and suddenly, she flipped, saying something to the effect of “Why did I delete her posting? Was it because my girlfriend would see it?” Then she, just like that, deleted me as a friend. Where did that come from, I had no idea. Besides being the shortest friendship I ever had, I guess she wasn’t really that much of a friend to begin with. But one thing I was very happy about was that if we DID hit it off, it may have been too late to turn back or worse. So, luckily it was very, very early in the relationship. By the way; there wasn’t really any relationship in the first place. I never met her, never seen her (except in photos), and I didn’t know her that well. I am so happy I didn’t confide in her, considering all the things I have going on at the moment. The situation was actually frightful.
But I have seen this before, and more so as I have gotten older. Maybe I am getting wiser and see it for what it is. I am seeing more and more ladies flip out over complete nonsense. One minute, everything is normal, and then the next, BAM!
The older I get, the more this seems to be happening. Anyone else having this experience?
